While I’m still playing the “what it Look Like” music video (with no plans on stopping,) Spitta has been in the works of making yet another visual accompaniment for another great track off “Stoned Immaculate.” His upcoming album is being hyped to no end and although I do myself enjoy a bit of a build up, now that I’ve heard about 4 tracks from it, I just want the damn thing already! alongside a pre-order of “Stoned Immaculate,” folks are now able to get an instant download of the newest single though, so I guess that’ll have to hold me off….
Pooling his already landfill-sized talent, Curren$y is joined by fellow rapper Daz Dillinger on the new music video for the song “fast Cars, faster Women.” Sporting a great backtrack, the track plays through flawless and brings only one question out of me, “Can’t it be just a little longer?” Starting the track off for a change, Curren$y gives me the impression yet again (as with most Stoned Immaculate releases thus far) that he has now become fully realized of the fact that he is truly a self-made musician, and finishing off the last two minutes after Spitta’s solid hook, Daz lays down a few verses that may just be his best feature yet. Curren$y new album is still slated for June 5, so until then I suppose we’ll all just have to prepare for the immaculate hip-hop feast that Spitta and the Jets are providing us with.

STUART — Rather than trying to reason with a hurricane season, the ARC of Martin County is busy preparing for it.
With eight group homes throughout the county and a hurricane-ready shelter in Stuart, the ARC of Martin County must stock enough supplies to comfortably handle 125 people in the case of some stormy weather this summer.
Because it is a state-funded agency, the gathering of provisions is mandated. however, state funding isn’t what it used to be, so the group has been forced to get creative as it works to prepare for this summer’s hurricane season.
The result is the Hurricane Stock Up Party and Networking Event, set for may 31 at the Courtyard Marriott in Stuart. The weather-related event will provide the opportunity to meet other members of the community and expand personal contact lists, as well as bring gift cards, cash or checks to help ARC buy supplies for its shelters and group homes.
There will be a DJ playing all weather-related songs, and a CBS 12 meteorologist doing live remotes from the venue, adding to the hurricane party experience.
"there will be a lot of Rock you Like A Hurricane and It’s Raining Men being played, because those are the weather songs most people know," said Tracy Howse, community development director for the ARC of Martin County. "but our DJ has a whole playlist of weather songs. it is also a great networking opportunity."
The party will feature hurricane-related door prizes donated by local businesses, but the main goal is to gather as many gift cards and cash as possible in order for ARC to be prepared when hurricane season begins on June 1. Howse said they are requesting gift cards from grocery stores and home improvement stores, as opposed to donations of actual food items, because of the acute needs of the individuals who live in the group homes.
This is the second year the organization has held a hurricane stock up party. they hope to exceed last year’s total of $7,000 raised.
"our individuals have such specific dietary needs. If we get gift cards, it gives us the opportunity to purchase the right stuff," Howse said. "We will use the cards to buy things like canned food, batteries, water and specific food for individuals. We also need to be able to keep medication refrigerated, get gas for generators and building supplies in order to make the houses safe."
The ARC knows what it’s like to be caught without hurricane supplies.
During the most recent spate of hurricanes to hit the Treasure Coast in 2004 and 2005, the organization was forced to bus its individuals to a shelter in Miami. besides taking up much staff time (not to mention staff away from their families and homes during a very trying time), it took some of the group home’s citizens out of their comfort zone.
"our individuals are comfortable in their space," Howse said. "but if you take them out of that space, some of them don’t do so well. Especially when you add in the stress of a hurricane."

Going to school every day paid off in a big way for three North Texas teenagers.
Grand Prairie ISD and businesses in the community treated perfect attendance students with a new car.
One winner was randomly selected from each school.
At South Grand Prairie High School, 450 of the 2,350 students had perfect attendance and were in the drawing.
"As you know we’re state funded, and we have recouped $700,000 to-date because of students’ perfect attendance," said the school’s Principal Donna Grant.
This is the second year of the giveaway. But for the first time, Graff Chevrolet gave away a car to each of the three high schools in Grand Prairie.
Graff Chevrolet’s general manager Kirk Frederick said the total estimated value of the prizes was $40,000.
"It’s a fabulous treat; a life changer for some of them. it opens up new doors that might be closed otherwise," Frederick said.
Five names were randomly drawn at each school, and each of the five students picked out a key.
Only one key started the ignition of the Chevy HHR and the student who had the key was the winner of the new vehicle.
At South Grand Prairie High, that lucky student was 16-year-old Matthew Gilbert.
"I was like, ‘What? are you kidding me?’ you know?" said Gilbert, who just got his driver’s license three months ago.
The winner from Grand Prairie High School was Angela Salinas, daughter of NBC 5 receptionist Sube Salinas who said, "She’s very, very happy. She’s still in shock. Never in a million years would she have thought that she would win a car."
The tax, title, and license fees for the vehicles were paid for by the Texas Trust Credit Union.
The winners also received free Chik-Fil-A for a year and AirHogs season tickets.

Little noise could be heard aside from the steady rumble of the engines as the Lakers team plane soared from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles in Thursday’s early morning hours, a heartbreaking 77-75 defeat to the Thunder slowly sinking in.
Blowing a big lead in the final moments of any game, let alone a potential momentum-shifting playoff game against an excellent team, takes a mental toll on a team. But Wednesday’s loss hurts all the more because the Lakers had almost flawlessly executed their game plan.
The entire tempo of the game had gone as L.A.’s coaching staff drew up prior to the action: possessions were slowed; turnovers were minimized; the ball was often taken out of the hands of All-Stars Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant; and the Lakers’ ball movement was at times good enough to take away OKC’s strong side overload.
All of that produced a 75-68 lead with just over two minutes to play.
Then the execution, the careful attention to detail … all of it … disappeared when it mattered most, with Kobe Bryant – even if his will had propelled L.A. into the lead – taking the lion’s share of the blame, accounting for a a costly turnover that Kevin Durant turned into a dunk, seeing the ball go off his hands on a subsequent trip and watching two of his jump shots fall short.
The Thunder got easy baskets at the rim, created quick turnovers and forced contested jump shots, a game-ending 9-0 run eviscerating L.A.’s foreseen victory and changing the outlook on a series they now trail 2-0 heading into a Friday and Saturday back-to-back at STAPLES Center.
“I thought we did a great job throughout the game, just not the last two minutes,” said Mike Brown. “We were better, we made some adjustments. We talked about playing more physical and protecting one another and that is what our guys did and it gave us a chance to win on the road. our guys fought, I have to give them credit for that.”
The defense was indeed good enough to put L.A. in position to win, thanks in large part to a change in how they played screen/rolls. the coaching staff decided to aggressively trap Westbrook in particular, taking away the 15-foot pull-up jump shot that killed the Lakers in Game 1, OKC ultimately scoring 119 points on 45 of 83 (53 percent) shooting.
In Game 2, L.A. conceded 15 fewer makes, and that’s with four allowed in the final two minutes, enough to trim 42 points off the Thunder total. the plan worked well enough that Andrew Bynum said after Thursday’s practice that the Lakers now know how to defend OKC, and simply need to continue to execute as the series goes on. Bryant agreed.
“It’s a tough loss but the biggest thing for us was that we found some things out defensively that we feel we can do that’s effective,” said Kobe. “they did a great job. It was a great comeback by them in the last two minutes. they got themselves a gritty win. Now it’s up to us to go back home and defend our home court.”

FOR boxy, practical sedans that could shame—or at least, match—flashy coupés and sports cars in the performance department, the auto planet has BMW to thank. however, it isn’t the company’s 3 Series that should be credited for starting the sports sedan genre. As car guys know, it’s the BMW new Class models that preceded the 3 Series that deserve the honor. especially the wickedly athletic 2002tii.
What BMW did with the 3 Series was infuse a degree of posh to the sport sedan deal. So when the first generation appeared in 1975 the car was softer riding, roomier, and better accoutered, and yet remained as sporty. The second-gen 3 Series received the same ingredients, and by the time it bowed out in 1989, BMW was no longer the financially strapped guys from Munich as it rides on the critical and commercial success of the model—which in a greed-is-good era had become the yuppie world’s car of choice.Fast forward to 2011 and the sixth generation of the 3 Series pretty much continues to smolder with the recipe BMW had concocted nearly four decades back, as much the critically and commercially acclaimed car that it had always been. The 3 Series had outlived the yuppie. Last week, the Philippine distributor of the brand, Asian Carmakers Corp. (ACC), lavishly traced the 3 Series’s history as it introduced the sixth-gen model to the country. The company that not only sold but had even assembled the third-generation 3 at its local plant unveiled the all-new BMW 328i and the diesel-burning BMW 320d. Both models, it’s safe to assume, are rolling dictionary definitions of the term “sport sedan.”“If there is such a thing as a quintessential BMW, it is without doubt the 3 Series. It is everything a sports sedan should be,” said ACC President Maricar Parco.3 LinesLike with the rest of BMW’s newest brood, the latest 3 Series’s variants are further segmented by three equipment levels that BMW calls Lines—Sport, Luxury and Modern—and which distinguish one car’s character from another. The 320d comes in all three Lines while the top-spec 328i is available solely in Sport. Interestingly, the 320d is priced at P3.490 million in whatever Line variant it comes while the 328i sells for P4.290 million. In Sport Line, the 320d’s and 328i’s body get clad with numerous pieces rendered in high-gloss black. The cars’ kidney grilles have black slats surrounded by chrome. They have black inserts on their front aprons, which make their air intakes appear larger, and draw attention to the 17-inch or 18-inch alloys. Black trim are lavished around the windows, on the B-pillar, in the rear bumper and on the tailpipe finisher. The cars’ side-view mirrors can be ordered in black, too. The 320d finished in Luxury Line is identified by chrome trim on the grille, air intakes, window frames, tailpipe finisher and strips in other areas. Multi-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels round out the car’s exterior touches. when rendered in Modern Line, the 320d gets satin aluminum pieces on the grille, air intakes and on other trim at the car’s front and rear. Turbine-style 17-inch alloys are the choice in this 3 Series variant.BMW’s ConnectedDrive suite of driver assistance systems has made its way to the new 328i and 320d, the cars’ advanced infotainment kit and interface technology allowing for music players and Bluetooth connectivity. Power playAnother kit among BMW’s touted set of advanced features that the latest 3 Series gets is the corporate EfficientDynamics technology that lets the cars churn more power while at the same time cutting fuel use and spewing out cleaner emissions. for starters, the new 3 Series boasts as standard an automatic start/stop function that kills the engine off when it’s idling for a few seconds then instantly fires it up when power is needed. Oh, and the system comes with the car no matter the engine-gearbox combination.Speaking of which, the 328i Sport Line is propelled by BMW’s new-generation 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine that has been fitted with the company’s TwinPower Turbo. this advanced turbo-charging system plays a huge role in the engine’s capacity to squeeze out 245 horsepower and 350 Newton-meter of torque (available from as low as 1,250 rpm) from such a low displacement. this output is enough to launch the car from rest to 100kph in only 5.9 seconds while still returning an average fuel consumption of 15.62 kilometers per liter, according to BMW’s figures.for its part, the 320d gets a 2.0-liter, common rail direct injection diesel mill that also has TwinPower Turbo, letting it churn out 184 horsepower and 380 Newton-meter of torque. The result of such grunt, BMW reckoned, is a naught-to-100kph sprint time of 7.6 seconds and fuel mileage of 22.73 kilometers per liter. by the way, both power plants are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Now combine this performance and green credentials to a chassis and body structure that has been made more rigid than ever, a 50/50 weight distribution and rear -wheel drive configuration (these last two bits being longtime BMW traits), and what comes out is a 3 Series that promises not only to continue the nameplate’s sporty tradition but to boost its posh factor and athleticism to new levels.that, by any measure, is truly genre-defining.
Southwest Airlines cheap flights operate on a point to point system rather than the more conventional hub and spoke system that many other carriers prefer. with more than three thousand flights a day, Southwest Airlines flights can often be bought cheaply because it is a low cost carrier.
The point to point system may benefit the traveler, as rather than having a central airport from which many of its flights originate, the Southwest Airlines model flies its airplanes between airports, with each of its airports having relative parity with the next. To cut down on costs and enable cheaper flights, Southwest Airlines frequently uses the secondary airports of its origin and destination cities. This may be a benefit or a disadvantage, depending on where the traveler wants to go in the destination city. Secondary airports usually have lower tariffs and charges for the airline, and the reduction in costs is often passed on in part to the consumer in the form of Southwest Airlines cheap flights.
Flying the High Life with Southwest Airlines Cheap Flights
However, Southwest Airlines also waives the rule about serving only secondary city airports – it also serves some of the major airports in the big cities. Listed below are some of the major airports that may be served if you book a Southwest Airline cheap flight.
1. Philadelphia International
2. Denver International Airport
3. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
4. Orlando International Airport
5. Detroit Metropolitan Airport
6. Lambert St. Louis International Airport
7. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
8. Seattle-Tacoma International
9. Pittsburgh International
10. San Francisco International Airport
11. Washington Dulles International Airport (limited flights, also serving Baltimore-Washington International Airport)
The Los Angeles area is served by Southwest Airlines cheap flights via four airports including the major Los Angeles International (LAX). the one airport not served by Southwest Airlines in the Los Angeles area is Long Beach so if you are headed there you will need to check out the fares of other low-cost carriers that fly to the area.
Benefits of Booking Southwest Airlines cheap flights
So why should you check out Southwest Airlines cheap flights rather than those of other carriers? First, the point to point system employed by Southwest airlines means that it is likely to have flights going between your intended origin and destination cities. if you are relying on cheap flights from other carriers, you’ll probably be in luck if you happen to be living in a hub city otherwise, you might struggle to find a cheap flight to your intended destination.
Another reason to check out Southwest Airlines cheap flights is the fact that it avoids farming out its fares. it is not likely that you’ll find a Southwest Airline cheap flight on fare search sites like Orbitz or Expedia. it is better that you go to Southwest Airline’s home on the web to find bargain flights there. the current home page of Southwest Airlines can be found at [http://www.southwest.com]. Southwest Airlines has had an online presence for more than a decade. Its flights are sold direct from its web site, and Southwest Airlines has a great record for online sales. As such, you are likely to find good deals on Southwest Airlines cheap flights exclusive to its web site. So why not check it out today?
